The Gaultier exhibition at London’s Barbican Centre is definitely well worth a visit for anyone interested in textiles or fashion. The imaginative curation, which includes projecting moving facial imagery onto the mannequin heads, effectively exhibits Gaultier’s designs and leaves you in no doubt as to his vibrant creativity. The couture clothing also showcases the skills of the artisan seamstresses and tailors and catalogues the hours it took to make many of the garments.
